For me, when a person is a stranger they should act a little strange – Funny Girl, 1968

At the moment, working on a couple of various projects...
and totalling 7 Hrs during this time on June 2012,
I have found an accessory for my carpal tunnel syndrome.

White Flowers and Post-it Notes, How I Roll:

I can’t help but feel compatible with the day.  The rain and grey side-ways creates Life’s shades and rejuvenates our pieced inspiration.  Art is self-love because expression is intrinsic.  Don’t ever stop creating.

I must tell you a secret:

There is this woman I know,
recent connection and long-time friend.
I have known someone like her in many different skins,
but this time our path is as focused as it is rewarding.
Helping and guiding;
listening and healing.

I recommend connecting :

Where Kitchen-Town becomes Geography-Town, and the beats that get us through the days, nights and their spaces between are just as filling as the remedies of Music-Love, Food-Love and Music Food.

Neil Young “On the Beach”

Sensationally sullen
Holding onto the eclipse of beat
Undeviating melodic grit -
We listen like aphonic children:
Though my problems
Are meaningless,
That don't make them
Go away.
I need a crowd of people,
But I can't face them
Day to day
To be in this town
this Kitchen-Town fictionalizing our Geography-Town,
I must remember
Every then and now
 ….Get out of town….

Finis: August 2012, 14.5 Hours

Consider all of the avenues which make us, us-
Focus which is intense and exact; clarity and immediate knowledge.
Time disappears.

In this unmissable look at the magic of comics, Scott McCloud bends the presentation format into a cartoon-like experience, where colorful diversions whiz through childhood fascinations and imagined futures that our eyes can hear and touch. c/o

Out of Context, Word of the Day: 'Germinal'

As much as we revel in the negative without realizing that we are in there, as we pull up a chair and stare at ourselves in a one-way mirror, consider this: nothing is permanent.  Embrace change and just know that what we want most is happening...

Check out Adora's impressive voice with a message that is invigorating:

Child prodigy Adora Svitak says the world needs "childish" thinking: bold ideas, wild creativity and especially optimism. Kids' big dreams deserve high expectations, she says, starting with grownups' willingness to learn from children as much as to teach. c/o

Three "Eyes": Imagination is Instinctive and Intrinsic

Janet Echelman ~ Truly Inspiring:
Janet Echelman found her true voice as an artist when her paints went missing -- which forced her to look to an unorthodox new art material. Now she makes billowing, flowing, building-sized sculpture with a surprisingly geeky edge. A transporting 10 minutes of pure creativity. c/o

Flashback Quote of the Day:

Saturday was a nice day and I dusted off my camera for a few pictures. I had to crop the duck pictures because they were far away and I didn't have all of my gear with me, but they turned out OK.

The talented and humble eye of a gifted and pretty neat guy; I have to say I'm bias, but I'm objective ~ he's the older brother and has kept me in line my entire life. His intimate and factual photographs are mostly seen on Parks Canada Website: But his real passion for nature - how he captures nature's brevity and freezes it's intimacy in static wonder, is a  mastered gift with his patient and detailed eye.
I love trees.  He loves birds.  I wonder what our progeny will come up with....

I was reunited with old friendship hosts, replaying banter from recent conquests.  It was like catching fireflies in the day light. Nothing was spectacular; but there was a comfort knowing everyone was there. Except you.  You weren’t there.  There was no light from you.

With each dulcet step, carrying our enchanting melody like cherubs in a garden of roses, I sometimes prick the soles of my feet not watching such impetus advances. I do not know who has more control - our Ego? Our tongue? Or the little person inside our head talking to themselves and playing in the corner. Observation is the nature of the self; the self naturally looks like someone we have met before. "I am going to be graceful by the time fifty, I swear." I know I will. I just know it.

Sleep knots my back because I am twisted in my dreams, pulled into the directions of ghosts with promises of enlightenment and ease.  But in this guise of a dreamer, I am awake shielding daylight with crimson sheets smelling of lavender and dis-ease.  My journey is servile and empty.  Tired, reborn; wet and confused, I enter this world again just how I left it.

Take The Other To Lunch

Don’t persuade, defend or interrupt. Be curious, be conversational, be real. And listen.” (Elizabeth Lesser)

There's an angry divisive tension in the air that threatens to make modern politics impossible. Elizabeth Lesser explores the two sides of human nature within us (call them "the mystic" and "the warrior”) that can be harnessed to elevate the way we treat each other. She shares a simple way to begin real dialogue -- by going to lunch with someone who doesn't agree with you, and asking them three questions to find out what's really in their hearts. c/o

Ain't No Cure for Love - L.Cohen

For late-night friends, unwinding....

Leonard Cohen, Bird On The Wire,

I consider our nights and our industry.  How alone it can be to just be.
I rely on the prose promises of poetry;
How I carry on -
Resonating, palpable layers
manifesting all the right players
owing nothing but the moment
I am inspired to create
a soul mate
Using words and taste.
Nothing more.

Quote of the Day: Don't do two things at once if you can't do one thing really well. - Papa Currie

There is this tiny squeal and then a loud Pop! The egg jumps up out of the dry burning pot and explodes into the air.
Dad, I yell, your eggs!
Damn! I hear him wrestle with a drawer at the top of the stairs before he thumps down, rushing onto the scene.
I'm standing in kitchen admiring the eggshell shrapnel.  Hard boil bits are minuscule and everywhere.
