Do you understand your own story?

Twisted light, curling pen -
the paper eats the warmth
spitting black ink in pits
binding a place with lines;
a rope made of roots,
a cord
to feed a family -
drawing selfish lines
crossing branches
until no one feeds,
and there is no fruit
when there is no soil.

"If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing."
- Marc Chagall, was one of the most successful artists of the 20th century.
