Another Finished 'Beauty'

Natural History Museum, ETSU

I had the honour of being asked to be apart of an Earth Day celebration at East Tennessee State University.  Well, one of trees was asked.  May 2012, from my Sacred Worship: Growth, Decay & Resurrection Series was used in their Earth Day 2013 promotional poster.  I have just received my copy of the giant poster in the mail.
Great work Natural History Museum Team!

Don't Make Assumptions

"We have the tendency to make assumptions about everything. The problem with making assumptions is that we believe they are the truth. We could swear they are real. We make assumptions about what others are doing or thinking—we take it personally—then we blame them and react by sending emotional poison with our word. That is why when we make assumptions, we’re asking for problems. We make an assumption, we misunderstand, we take it personally, and we end up creating a whole big drama for nothing.”

If you want it, let it go

“The Law of Detachment says that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This doesn’t mean that you give up the intention to create your desire. You don’t give up the intention, and you don’t give up the desire. You give up your attachment to the result.” ~ Deepak Chopra from The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

Happy Solar Flower

Dear Mrs Green Thumb,

For my birthday this year you got me a gift that just keeps on giving.  A solar-powered dancing flower.  Though it is made of plastic, and doesn't have a fragrance, the fact that it does not require any attention, other than the sun's love, I am as happy as my solar-powered dancing flower.

Summer Markets

When you are touring Ontario's lakes this summer, the Georgian Triangle is your first stop.

I have linked my shows and summer market appearances in Collingwood to my website:

I will be showcasing limited edition prints from my past two series, End of Season and Growth, Decay & Resurrection.

I will also be selling all original 5x7 framed pieces in my Late Nite Series.

Of course, sneak peak limited edition prints can be ordered from my new series, Carving an Artist.

I'm very excited to be a part of these celebratory art markets where all kinds of art is to be featured - photography, fashion, jewellery, sign craft, fine art illustrations, live music and much much more.

Stop by the PomonaLIFE tent, and tell me what you have done lately!

Another for the collection

When I travel, I draw.  It eases the time between destinations and passes the time of jovial inquisitions of curious strangers.
I enjoy peace when I doodle,
I enjoy the rhythm of my dots.
I was in transit with this tree, flying from Vancouver to Toronto.
I was comforted by its familiar silhouette, longing a memory.
