Thank you to all who came by!  It was such a treat to hear your stories about art and trees, and thank you for supporting PomonaLIFE.
We gave out free art cards, promoting our up coming show, while we were entertained by men on stilts and Craigsnbacon.
If you missed us yesterday at the Georgian Bay Artisan Market, you will have to see us again August 3rd, 2013, from 9am to 5pm.

Saturday Mornings

Smell like clean kitchens, floors and bathrooms,
a zest of lemon and sweat;
and they sound like playlists from decades ago,
metal twang and salty throats singing sounds of new tastes.
Saturdays look like new trees and current states of mind,
nothing lasts forever, but it's captured in the ink of the moment with progressive smiles.

the happiest most fulfilled people run towards their fears

Published on Mar 22, 2012
Robin Sharma is the author of "The Secret Letters of the Monk Who Sold His Ferrari". In this bonus material, he stresses how important it is for people to fill their creative potential and of not letting ourselves get caught up in materialism. He believes we should take some risks, as facing fears head-on will help us grow.

Evidently your honour is stronger than my beauty. - Indiscreet, 1958

I can, You can! ~a.

The Log Book: Carving an Artist is not only about mapping where we find inspiration,
but also documents how we create.
I am putting together a series of time-lapse photos and videos to show the stages of creation.
My pieces take anywhere from 15 minutes to 15 hours to draw.
I'm looking forward to showing you, how I create.

Entering the forest

"You enter the forest at the darkest point, where there is no path. Where there is a way or a path, it is someone else's path. You are not on your own path. If you follow someone else's way, you are not going to realize your potential." ~ Joseph Campbell from A Joseph Campbell Companion (as read on: http://www.entheos.com)

Whenever in doubt, create!

“Problems are a sign of life. Our job is to create better quality problems in our lives.” - Tony Robbins

{a.currie}

I had a little self doubt.  I still have moments of uncertainty that wrap their lips around my own.  But, I wash my face with a new day and I reflect when I draw.  I find balance, poise and success in every dot, in every line, and in every creative surge.
It's not always a steady stream of Yes I Can! But I am in a constant flow of abundance with Yes I Can
Be positive.
And mask your doubts with the ink, the song or the paint brush.
